Finish What Job? George W. Bush seems to be suffering from mission creep. Creep is right.
A yellow jacket nest the size of a Volkswagen? Well, at least the size of the interior of a 1955 Chevrolet. Looks like something out of H.R. Giger. Apparently this is due to warmer winters in Alabama that have seen giant nests appearing all over the state.

Snakes on a Logo!

Snakes on a Logo! The logo for the Stratford Airporter shuttle service is curiously appropriate in this era of snakes on a mfn plane!
A flickrset of photographs of Walt Disney Co. animators from the period around Sleeping Beauty. Cool!

The Government of Ontario has put online a great collection of Tourism marketing materials from yesteryear. Includes the 1967 "Ontari-ari-air-o!" ad!
A set of ultra-useful motivational posters (oxymoron alert!) based on the characters of Star Trek.

I've always liked the thought
I've always liked the thought of a robotic parking garage. And they are, in fact, a reality. But then, this is the age of the copyright war, and once again the awful beast that is greed rears its ugly head.

The Longest Running Science Experiments.
The Longest Running Science Experiments. I love stuff like this. Includes my favourite, the 1927 Pitch Drop! Fark Photoshop Theme: "Pac-Man is apparently only 64 percent violent. Photoshop him up to 100 percent."Posted by Hamish at 09:35 AM
